CNE Chile Participates in Panels at 9th Latin America Energy Summit

CNE Chile officials participated in two panels at the 9th Latin America Energy Summit on April 16, 2026. Executive Secretary Mauricio Funes discussed perspectives on the national electrical system and regulatory adjustments needed for the next four years. Infrastructure Manager Paulina Muñoz addressed challenges in electrical transmission expansion and its role in enabling renewable energy integration and new productive development poles. The discussions emphasized the importance of coherent, predictable planning aligned with technological evolution and system demands.

CNE Chile Participates in First Energy Route 2026-2030 Dialogue

CNE Chile announced its active participation in the first meeting of the Ruta Energética 2026-2030, a collaborative initiative led by Deputy Minister of Energy Hugo Briones. The meeting gathered civil society councils (COSOC) from CNE, the Ministry of Energy, and the SEC to gather input and perspectives that will inform the Ministry's energy roadmap for the coming years.
