Arms Sales Notification - Iraq Contracted Logistical Services ($90M)
The Defense Department published a notice of a proposed $90 million arms sale to Iraq for contracted logistical services supporting VACIS XPL vehicle scanning systems. The sale includes maintenance, help desk support, spare parts, software updates, and technical support for the Ministry of Interior's inspection systems. No Major Defense Equipment is included in this notification.
Unclassified Arms Sales Notification - Qatar AN/FPS-132 Early Warning Radar Enhancement
DoD published the unclassified text of an arms sales notification (Transmittal 25-1S) for a potential sale to the Government of Qatar involving AN/FPS-132 Block 5/15 Early Warning Radar enhancements. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has requested to purchase 730 PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (PAC-3 MSE) missiles along with related equipment, support, and services valued at $9.0 billion total ($7.0 billion in major defense equipment and $2.0 billion in other items).
Arms Sales Notification - Government of Kuwait - Transmittal No. 0M-25
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency published unclassified text of an arms sales notification (Transmittal No. 0M-25) for the Government of Kuwait. The notification covers the possible sale of eight new AH-64E Apache Longbow attack helicopters and remanufacture of 16 existing AH-64D helicopters to the AH-64E configuration, along with associated weapons, sensors, and support equipment. The notification concerns a proposed sale to the Government of Lithuania of eight M142 HIMARS launchers, various missile systems including GMLRS pods, and associated equipment. The estimated total case value was $495 million, with $440 million in Major Defense Equipment. The notification also reported a correction to the designation of IFATDS from non-MDE to MDE and updated quantities.
Netherlands AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II Missile Sale Notification

The notification covers additional AIM-9X Sidewinder Block II tactical missiles and related equipment, increasing the estimated total case value by $65 million to a revised $756 million.
