Datenschutzbehörden der Länder legen eigene Reformvorschläge vor Die Datenschutzbehörden der Länder wenden sich gegen die Vorschläge zur Zentralisierung der Datenschutzaufsicht. Weitreichende Folgen für die regionale Wirtschaft, Bürgerinnen und Bürger, sowie freie Berufe werden ignoriert. Datenschutz betrifft alle. Mit den Landesdatenschutzbehörden gibt es bewährte Ansprechpartner vor Ort, die durch Veranstaltungen im Land und regionale Veröffentlichungen bekannt sind. Dadurch profitieren insbesondere kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen sowie Freiberuflerinnen und Freiberufler - immerhin 99,2 Prozent der Unternehmen in Deutschland - in besonderer Weise von den heutigen Strukturen im Datenschutz. Zentralisierung führt hier nicht zu Entbürokratisierung. Das eigentliche inhaltliche Ziel ist ein gemeinsames: Rechtssicherheit durch einheitliche Auslegung und weniger Bürokratie durch einfachere Verfahren mit klaren Zuständigkeiten. Die Datenschutzbehörden der Länder greifen daher die Pläne aus den Koalitionsverhandlungen zur Reform der Datenschutzkonferenz (DSK) auf und schlagen konkret vor:
