Ruim 2 Miljoen Bezoeken aan Kwaadaardige Websites Voorkomen in Anti-Phishing Pilot

Het Anti Phishing Shield, een publiek-private samenwerking tussen het ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid, NCSC, KPN, de politie, de Nederlandse Vereniging van Banken en NLconnect, heeft sinds de start van de pilot in juli 2025 ruim twee miljoen pogingen om phishing- en frauduleuze websites te bezoeken geblokkeerd onder ruim 200.000 gebruikers. Het NCSC verzamelt continu actuele informatie over malafide domeinen via publieke en commerciële bronnen en deelt deze via een DNS-service met deelnemende internetaanbieders; de denial list wordt elk kwartier geactualiseerd en bevat inmiddels ruim 160.000 kwaadaardige domeinen. Door het succes van de pilot wordt het Anti Phishing Shield bij het NCSC ondergebracht en wordt onderzocht hoe het bereik en de effectiviteit verder vergroot kunnen worden.

Tweede Kamer Approves Cyberbeveiligingswet, NIS2 Implementation

On April 15, 2026, the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) approved the Cyberbeveiligingswet (Cbw) and the Wet weerbaarheid kritieke entiteiten, implementing the EU NIS2 directive into Dutch law and replacing the current Wbni. The law establishes duty-of-care, reporting, and registration obligations for approximately 8,000 organizations under NCSC responsibility. The bills now proceed to the Eerste Kamer (Senate) for further consideration, with planned implementation in Q2 2026.

Anthropic's Frontiermodel Mythos Vraagt Om Directe Actie

NCSC-NL issued an advisory on April 15, 2026 warning that Anthropic's new AI model Mythos — capable of vulnerability detection and exploit chaining — poses increased cyber threat risks. The agency urges organizations to accelerate patch processes, reduce time-to-patch from days/weeks to hours, and integrate AI developments into security measures. Reaction cycles previously measured in days will shrink to hours as both defenders and attackers leverage AI capabilities.
