What changed

On March 30, 2026, the Rhode Island Supreme Court entered an order disbarring attorney Joseph Molina Flynn on consent. Flynn had filed an affidavit with the Disciplinary Board on October 29, 2025, freely and voluntarily consenting to disbarment and acknowledging awareness of multiple ongoing professional misconduct investigations. The Court determined disbarment appropriate under Article III, Rule 13 of the Supreme Court Rules of Disciplinary Procedure for Attorneys.

The disbarment is effective immediately upon entry. Any regulated party or employer with ties to Rhode Island legal services should note that Flynn is permanently barred from practicing law in the jurisdiction. Other attorneys subject to parallel disciplinary proceedings should recognize this demonstrates the Court's willingness to grant consent disbarments when voluntarily offered.
