Harley-Davidson Brake Recall, Heritage Classic, Softail, 1,827 Units

Harley-Davidson is recalling 1,827 motorcycles (2025–2026 Heritage Classic, Softail Low Rider, Softail Street Bob) because the rear brake line may contact the body control module (BCM) and become damaged over time, potentially causing a brake fluid leak and reduced braking. The safety risk is extended stopping distances and increased crash risk. Harley-Davidson will notify owners by mail and instruct dealers to replace the BCM bracket and inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear brake line.
