Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board Launches What's Really at Stake Underage Gambling Awareness Campaign
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has launched the 'What's Really at Stake' awareness campaign to address underage gambling. The campaign uses social media, online advertising, a dedicated website (WhatsReallyatStake.com), and free downloadable materials for educators and counselors. The initiative coincides with Problem Gambling Awareness Month in March and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship. The PGCB cites statistics showing 75% of U.S. college students gambled in the past year and 58% of 18-22-year-olds engaged in sports betting.
Gaming Revenue $547M, Up 14.6% in February
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported combined gaming revenue of $547,103,943 for February 2026, representing a 14.64% increase compared to $477,250,631 in February 2025. The resulting tax revenue for February 2026 was $236,018,507. Revenue increased across most segments including iGaming slots (24.11%), sports wagering (405.59%), and retail slots (3.12%), while iGaming tables and poker experienced declines.
Pennsylvania Reports Record $6.8B Gaming Revenue for 2025
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported combined 2025 gaming revenue of $6,796,211,719, a record high representing a 10.74% increase over 2024's $6,137,089,054. iGaming revenue surged 27.22% to $2.78 billion, while retail slots decreased 0.62% to $2.43 billion and table games fell 1.25% to $925 million. Tax revenue generated was $2.98 billion, the highest ever returned to the Commonwealth.
PA GCB Revokes Gambling Privileges from 22 Persons
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board placed 22 individuals on various Involuntary Exclusion Lists, prohibiting them from casino gaming, online betting, and Video Gaming Terminal locations in Pennsylvania. Five adults were placed on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List for leaving minors unattended at casino properties while gambling. Twelve others were placed on the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List, and five additional persons were placed on the Involuntary Interactive Exclusion List for committing fraud on iGaming or Sports Wagering sites.
PA Gaming Control Board Fines BetMGM $100,000 and Places 16 on Exclusion Lists
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approved a $100,000 consent agreement fine against BetMGM, LLC for failing to maintain adequate Know-Your-Customer (KYC) protocols on its BetMGM and Borgata wagering platforms. The deficiencies allowed four fraud rings to create accounts using stolen identities and conduct combined wagering of over $2 million. The Board also placed 16 individuals on various Involuntary Exclusion Lists, including four adults who left minors unattended at casino properties.
