Meeting Notification The Massachusetts Gaming Commission to hold Public Meeting Topics include: Discussion of regulations, an ad hoc sports wagering study, and more. WHO: Members of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission including Chair Jordan Maynard and Commissioners Paul Brodeur, Brad Hill, Eileen O'Brien, and Nakisha Skinner WHAT: The Massachusetts Gaming Commission will hold public meeting #585 on Thursday, March 26, 2026. Once the meeting is called to order, the Commission will review the meeting minutes from February 26, 2026. The Legal Division will follow with discussion on several regulations, 205 CMR 250: Protection of Minors and Underage Youth from Sports Wagering, 205 CMR 3.02: Definitions, 205 CMR 3.28: Prohibited Practices, and finally, 205 CMR 3.29: Medications and Prohibited Substances. Commissioners then expect to hear from the Racing Division with a request from Plainridge Park Racecourse for the approval of racing officials and key operating personnel. The Sports Wagering Division will then lead discussions on a request from MGM to pay out lost wagers pursuant to 205 CMR 238.47. The meeting will shift to the Research and Responsible Gaming Division, which is expected to lead a discussion of an ad hoc sports wagering study for the FY26 Research Agenda. The IT Division will follow with a request for approval of a technical security expert. The meeting is then expected to enter executive session to review minutes from previous executive sessions. Commissioner updates are expected to follow, rounding out the meeting.
