Diogo Thomson Named Interim CADE President

Conselheiro Diogo Thomson de Andrade assumed interim presidency of Brazil's Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (CADE) on April 12, 2026, succeeding Gustavo Augusto whose term ended. Thomson has been with CADE since 2007, serving as a prosecutor, administrative instructor, and deputy superintendent for over a decade before joining the Tribunal as a counselor in 2023.
