Banka e Shqipërisë çeli në Gjirokastër ekspozitën lëvizëse “Paraja rrëfen: 100 vjet jetë dhe ngjarje, Banka e Shqipërisë”, një ekspozitë historike, e cila i paraqet vizitorëve historinë e bankës qendrore dhe të monedhës shqiptare, përmes objekteve numizmatike dhe muzeale, dokumenteve arkivore, fotografive, materialeve filmike dhe atyre shpjeguese.
Ekspozita kremton dy përvjetorë me rëndësi për historinë e vendit, 100-vjetorin e bankës qendrore (1925–2025) dhe 100-vjetorin e emetimit të parë të monedhës kombëtare (1926–2026), duke u përqendruar në rolin e parasë dhe të institucionit të bankës qendrore në zhvillimet ekonomike, politike, ndërkombëtare dhe shoqërore të Shqipërisë ndër dekada.
Ceremoninë e çeljes e përshëndetën: z. Altin Tanku, Drejtor i Departamentit të Kërkimeve në Bankën e Shqipërisë, z. Flamur Golemi, Kryetar i Bashkisë Gjirokastër, si dhe znj. Albana Hasani, Prefekte e Qarkut Gjirokastër. Në fjalët e tyre u theksua rëndësia e bashkëpunimit institucional për iniciativa që forcojnë lidhjen e publikut me trashëgiminë historike dhe me edukimin financiar.
Ekspozita në Gjirokastër do të qëndrojë e hapur për publikun në datat 27 prill–1 maj, në Muzeun e Gjirokastrës, në Kala, me hyrje të lirë, në oraret 9 e 30 me 17 e 30.
