What changed
The Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) has issued an Order Accepting Stipulation in Enforcement Case No. 25-18770, revoking the insurance license of Richard Manni. The revocation is based on Manni's admission that he obtained his license through misrepresentation or fraud and engaged in fraudulent or dishonest practices, demonstrating untrustworthiness. The order formally adopts the terms of a Stipulation to Entry of Order, which Manni agreed to.
This action signifies the final disciplinary measure against Richard Manni, resulting in the immediate loss of his insurance license. Regulated entities, particularly those involved in licensing and compliance within Michigan's financial services sector, should note this enforcement action as a precedent for severe consequences related to fraudulent conduct and misrepresentation in obtaining or maintaining licenses. No specific compliance deadline is mentioned, as this is an individual enforcement action, but it underscores the importance of integrity in all business dealings.
