Guidelines on Submission of Periodic Information by Benchmark Administrators, Credit Rating Agencies and Market Transparency Infrastructures

ESMA has issued new guidelines (Reference ESMA80-634726060-3085) establishing standardized requirements for the submission of periodic information by benchmark administrators, credit rating agencies, and market transparency infrastructures. The guidelines define what periodic data must be reported to national competent authorities and ultimately to ESMA under EU securities supervision frameworks.

Benchmark administrators, CRAs, and operators of market transparency infrastructures will need to review their current reporting processes and systems against these new ESMA expectations. Compliance teams should assess gaps and implement necessary updates to ensure timely and accurate periodic submissions to regulators.
