Summary

The Arkansas Bank Commissioner has extended the closure of Eagle Bank & Trust Company's Rose Bud branch by an additional 60 days, from December 25, 2025. This extension allows for necessary repairs to be completed following damage to the branch.

What changed

The Arkansas Bank Commissioner has issued an amendment to a previous order, extending the closure of Eagle Bank & Trust Company's branch in Rose Bud, Arkansas, by an additional 60 days beyond the original December 25, 2025 expiration. This decision, made pursuant to A.C.A. § 23-46-212(d)(1)(B), acknowledges the ongoing impact of damage to the branch and the need for repairs before normal business operations can resume.

This amendment provides Eagle Bank & Trust Company with an extended period to complete necessary repairs and reopen its Rose Bud location. Regulated entities should note that such extensions are granted based on demonstrated impact and the need for repairs. While no specific compliance actions are required for other entities, this serves as an example of regulatory flexibility in response to unforeseen operational disruptions.
