< 모범관행 도입후 주요 개선내용 >

① (이사회) 모범관행 도입후 대부분의 금융회사에서 이사회가 소비자보호 관련 경영전략 및 정책 등을 직접 보고(55→69개사) 받고 있으며,

ㅇ 이사회내 소비자보호 관련 소위원회를 운영하는 회사도 13개사 증가(2→15개사)하는 등 이사회의 소비자보호 관련 의사결정 기능이 강화되었습니다.

※ 점검대상 77개사중 41개사(53.2%)는 소비자보호 전문성을 갖춘 이사를 선임중

② (소비자보호 내부통제위원회) 개최주기를 단축(11개사, 반기→분기 등)하고 주요 의결사항을 이사회에 보고(73개사, 94.8%)하는 등 운영방식이 개선되었습니다.

③ (CCO) 대부분의 금융회사가 CCO에게 KPI 설계 등 소비자보호 핵심사안에 대한 배타적 사전합의권 및 개선요구권을 부여(64개사, 83.1%)하고 있으며,

ㅇ CCO의 임기를 2년 이상 보장하는 회사도 22개사 증가(29→51개사)하는 등 모범관행 도입후 CCO의 권한이 확대되었습니다.

④ (소비자보호부서) 구성원의 전문성(업무경력 등)을 강화하고 인력규모가 확대되었습니다(총인원 대비 소비자보호부서 인원 비중 : '25.1월 1.65% → '26.1월 1.87%)

⑤ (성과보상체계) KPI 적정성 평가결과를 이사회에 보고하는 회사가 증가(43→57개사)하였고 대부분이 대표이사 KPI에 소비자보호 지표를 반영(69개사, 89.6%)하고 있습니다.

⑥ (금융지주회사) 소비자보호를 전담하는 부서를 신설(4개사)하고 지주 단독 CCO를 선임(1개사)하는 등 자회사에 대한 관리,감독을 강화하였습니다.
