Version 2.0.0 of the Data Sharing Services in the Field of Payment (DSSP), which was developed by the Interbank Card Center (BKM) and allows provision of standard Open Banking services to the parties, has been launched with new features.
This new version extends the scope of account information services, and introduces comprehensive features related to Card Information and Transactions. Significant improvements have been made to enable more practical and secure management of financial transactions by users, while scheduled and recurring payment facilities have been supported by the addition of Scheduled Payment Order Initiation and Recurring Payment Order Initiation Services. Moreover, security and functioning of services have been further reinforced, and the integration of stakeholders has been made easier.
Open Banking services will provide added value in many areas of the payments ecosystem with its diversifying functions and areas of usage. These new features aim to create opportunities that will contribute to increasing the flexibility of financial services offered by banks and payment and electronic money institutions, and to improving the customer experience. The end user experience will be enhanced by enabling scheduled and recurring payment orders through the DSSP.
