April 24, 2026 Reading Time: 1 min read The Automated Clearing House processed 403 million same-day payments in the first quarter of 2026, up 23.6% from the same period last year, network operator Nacha announced this week.

Total payments in Q1 were valued at $1.1 trillion, a 22.1% gain over a year ago, and the second straight quarter in which same-day ACH value topped the $1 trillion mark, Nacha said. Business-to-business payment volume grew, with nearly 2.1 billion made in Q1, up 9.4% from a year earlier.

Total ACH Network volume rose 4.8% to 8.9 billion payments. The value of those payments was $24.1 trillion, up 9.3%.
