What changed
RBCS has issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the FY2026 Delta Health Care Services Grant Program, with applications opening April 1, 2026. The program funds healthcare services in rural Delta regions and full application details are available on grants.gov and the USDA RD website. Going forward, this funding opportunity will only be announced through the Agency website and grants.gov without Federal Register publication, requiring applicants to check these sources directly rather than relying on Federal Register notices.
Healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies interested in the Delta Health Care Services Grant should prepare to apply through the grants.gov portal using Funding Opportunity Number RDBCP-DHCS-2026. Prospective applicants must transition their monitoring practices to track announcements on the USDA RD Agency website and grants.gov for future funding cycles, as this represents a change in how the agency communicates grant opportunities.
What to do next
- Review eligibility requirements and application materials on grants.gov
- Register on grants.gov to prepare for application submission
- Monitor USDA RD website and grants.gov for future announcements as Federal Register notices will no longer be used
