The grant aims to generate context-specific knowledge and practical solutions to enhance the sustainability of smallholder irrigation schemes in East and Southern Africa through 4P (Public-Private Producer Partnership) approaches. The initiative will identify, pilot and scale innovative partnership models, strengthen capacities of key stakeholders, and produce knowledge products to inform future investments and policy dialogue. Activities will focus on Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
