State and national transportation leaders celebrating the SR 400 Express Lanes Project with ceremonial groundbreaking
True North 400, Georgia DOT and SR 400 Peach Partners to celebrate largest transportation investment in Georgia history April 22

What: **** True North 400 will host a ceremonial groundbreaking Wednesday, April 22 to commemorate the official construction start of the State Route (SR) 400 Express Lanes project, a multi-billion-dollar investment set to transform mobility in metro Atlanta’s Fulton and Forsyth counties.

The project is the result of a public-private partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) which will enhance connectivity, reduce congestion and support smart growth in the region. The event will take place on the Avalon parking deck rooftop, offering invited attendees a unique vantage point overlooking the corridor where construction work is already underway.

Federal, state and regional leaders will deliver remarks on the project’s significance and long-term positive impact on metro Atlanta mobility.
