Interstate Closure Advisory for the 16@95 Improvement Projects |

WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes and ramps at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen I-16 and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16, bridge work on I-95, and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange. ADVANCE NOTICE & DETOURS
Note: The following detours will be scheduled so they will not conflict with one another. Closures and detours will be coordinated to ensure proper maintenance of traffic. No more than one ramp in the I-16/I-516 Interchange will be closed at a time.

Motorists traveling on I-16 eastbound should take the I-516 exit (Exit 164), then take the I-516 West exit ramp, then exit at West Gwinnett Street (Exit 6), turn left off the ramp, then turn left to access I-516 eastbound.
