Description

Thames Freeport is establishing a procurement Framework for the delivery of skills training programmes in the Thames Freeport region, specifically in the boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Thurrock.

The procurement will appoint a pool of approved training providers to a framework, with call-off contracts placed for specific programmes. Engagement process description

The purpose of this engagement is to:

•Share the proposed framework structure and commercial model

•Gather views on market capacity and capability to deliver the identified training programmes

•Test the proposed programme specifications and volumes

•Invite feedback that may inform the final ITT design.

•There will be two online supplier briefing events. This will be the same session repeated so suppliers can choose which event to attend. Both will cover the framework model, the call-off programmes for FY27, the evaluation approach, and provide an opportunity for questions.

Dates of any events - Tuesday 28 April 2026 4-5pm and Thursday 30 April 2026 4-5pm.

•To register interest and to receive an invitation to attend the supplier briefing events please email skills@thamesfreeport.com; with your company name, organisation type, and the name and contact details of the person(s) attending.

•This procurement is being managed by Avencera on behalf of the Thames Freeport.
