Description
This NOFO will assist states in planning, establishing, operating, coordinating, and evaluating projects directly or through grants and contracts with public and private agencies for the development of more effective education, training, research, prevention, diversion, treatment, and rehabilitation programs to improve their juvenile justice system. Pursuant to Title II, Part B of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) (34 U.S.C. ยงยง11131-11133), to receive funds, states must submit and receive OJJDP Administrator approval of a 3-year state plan for carrying out Formula Grants program activities.
