CRS From Korea CVD Review Correction: POSCO C&C Co. Name Fix
Summary
Commerce issued a correction to its March 5, 2026 preliminary results of the 2023 countervailing duty administrative review on certain cold-rolled steel flat products from the Republic of Korea. The correction changes the name of one rescinded company from 'POSCO C&C., Ltd.' to 'POSCO C&C Co., Ltd.' on page 10797, second column, of FR Doc 2026-04328. No duty rates, subsidy findings, or rescission determinations are altered by this correction.
About this source
Every Department of Commerce entry in the Federal Register: BIS export control amendments, NOAA fisheries management rules, NIST standards proposals, Patent and Trademark Office procedural changes, and the Section 232 tariff adjustment procedures that land through Commerce. Around 130 entries a month. Watch this if you manage export licensing, operate in affected fisheries (Guam bottomfish, grouper species, Atlantic sea scallops), supply steel or aluminum producers exposed to Section 232 tariff changes, or track NIST cybersecurity standards as they move through formal rulemaking. GovPing publishes each entry with the docket, subagency, and comment window.
What changed
Commerce published a correction notice to FR Doc 2026-04328 (March 5, 2026 preliminary results) changing one company name from 'POSCO C&C., Ltd.' to 'POSCO C&C Co., Ltd.' on page 10797, second column. The correction is administrative only — the rescission of review for that company remains in effect, and no countervailing duty rates or subsidy calculations are affected.
For importers, exporters, and manufacturers involved in cold-rolled steel trade with Korea, this correction has no compliance implications. It is a ministerial erratum that does not alter rights, obligations, or cash-deposit rates under the CVD order. Parties should retain the corrected version of the preliminary results for their records.
