2 April 2026 — SARS Media Advisory: The South African Revenue Service (SARS), invites all media to the introductory press conference to be hosted by Commissioner Mr. Edward Kieswetter for the newly appointed SARS Commissioner-Designate, Dr Ngobani Johnstone Makhubu.

This is pursuant to the recent announcement by President Ramaphosa that he has appointed Dr Ngobani Johnstone Makhubu to officially take over the SARS portfolio from the outgoing Commissioner, Mr. Edward Kieswetter on the 1 st of May 2026.
