Summary

NSE India Circular No. 37/2026 (ref: NSE/COMP/73888) dated April 25, 2026 requires all Trading Members to submit their Initial Accessibility Audit Report for digital platforms by April 30, 2026. The submission must be made via the ENIT portal under Compliance > Compliance with RPwD Act, 2016 > RPwD Submission, with detailed requirements including auditor certification, scope of audit, key findings, and remediation action plans. This compliance obligation originates from SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/ITD-1/ITD_VIAP/P/CIR/2025/131 dated September 25, 2025, implementing the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

“Trading Members are required to submit the "Initial Accessibility Audit Report" for digital platforms by April 30, 2026, to the Exchange.”

Why this matters

Trading Members that have not yet commenced their digital accessibility audits should initiate the process immediately given the April 30, 2026 deadline. The audit must be conducted by an IAAP Certified Accessibility Professional, and the report must include scope, key findings, and remediation timelines. Firms should confirm their ENIT portal access and test the submission workflow before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.
