Marcus Sanfratello Sentenced to 20 Years for 1983 Homicide of Teresa Peroni

The Oregon Department of Justice announced that Marcus Sanfratello, 73, pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree and was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the 1983 homicide of Teresa Peroni. Under the plea agreement, Sanfratello will serve a minimum of 10 years. The cold case was reopened in 2024 using modern forensic DNA techniques and new witness interviews, leading to a June 2025 indictment by a Josephine County grand jury.
