Bain Capital / Tingstad Group Merger - Art. 6(1)(b)

The European Commission has cleared Bain Capital's proposed acquisition of Tingstad Group under Article 6(1)(b) of the EU Merger Regulation (Council Regulation 139/2004), applying the simplified procedure. The notification was received on 24 March 2026 with a provisional deadline of 4 May 2026. The decision covers three economic activities: manufacture of corrugated paper and paperboard containers, wholesale of other intermediate products, and warehousing and storage.
