PA Preferred Marketing Grants Award $500k to Farms, Markets

The Shapiro Administration announced the first round of PA Preferred Marketing Grants totaling $500,000, with individual awards of up to $10,000 available to reimburse promotional costs for Pennsylvania farmers and agricultural producers under the PA Preferred, PA Preferred Homegrown by Heroes, or PA Preferred Organic programs. Applications are due by May 16, 2026. Governor Shapiro signed legislation in November 2023 granting PA Preferred authority to offer grants for the first time since the state's buy-local branding program was originally funded in 2011.
