MDOT Memorial Ceremony Honors Fallen Roadside Workers in Jackson

MDOT hosted its annual Fallen Workers Memorial Ceremony at its Jackson headquarters to honor 50 employees who lost their lives in service to Mississippi. The ceremony included remarks from Director Brad White, Commissioner Willie Simmons, and Speaker of the House Jason White, and added the name of Johnny C. Adams to the memorial. Governor Tate Reeves proclaimed April 20–24 as Work Zone Awareness Week in Mississippi.
