Two Russian Disinformation Entities Added to EU Sanctions List

The Council of the European Union has adopted Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/885, amending Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2024/2642 to add two Russian disinformation entities to the EU restrictive measures list. The entities designated are Euromore (also known as Euroview or Euroview Media), a Brussels-based media platform that amplifies Kremlin narratives targeting European audiences, and the Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad (Pravfond), a Moscow-based organisation. Council Adds Euromore and Pravfond to Russia Sanctions List Under Decision (CFSP) 2024/2643

Both entities are listed for supporting or facilitating actions that undermine or threaten stability or security in the Union through information manipulation and interference. The Decision entered into force on the date of its publication in the Official Journal.
