Fresh Glasswort Leaves and Stems From Israel Authorized for Import

APHIS announces authorization of fresh glasswort (Salicornia europaea L.) leaves and stems from Israel for human consumption into the United States, effective April 21, 2026. The decision follows a pest risk analysis and 60-day comment period, with two comments received that did not affect the outcome. Importation is subject to phytosanitary measures specified in the accompanying Risk Management Document.
