Exempted Fishing Permit Application: Cultimar Technologies 200 Red Snapper Collection

NMFS announces receipt of an application from Cultimar Technologies, Inc. for an Exempted Fishing Permit (EFP) to collect 200 sexually mature American red snapper from South Atlantic Federal waters off Florida. If granted, the EFP would authorize transport of the fish to the applicant's aquaculture hatchery in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to establish a broodstock population for research and fingerling production. Public comments are requested by May 21, 2026.
