Abstract

This invention relates to a column (1) for binding a cell, the column (1) comprising a column body comprising a retention volume comprising a stationary phase, wherein preferably the stationary phase is an affinity chromatography matrix; at least one open end for adding or removing the cell to or from the column (1); and at least one obstacle within the column body, wherein the at least one obstacle is a grid or a pin; optionally wherein the column has a first open end and a second open end arranged opposite to each other on the column. The present invention also relates to a system of columns (1). The present invention also relates to a method for binding a cell.
