Tweet PRINT Email Wednesday, April 01, 2026 The Oklahoma Department of Labor, in partnership with organizations across the state, will host the 2026 Oklahoma Workers’ Memorial Day Vigil on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the OKANA Resort & Conference Center, Sunset Room, in Oklahoma City.
The annual vigil honors Oklahoma workers who lost their lives on the job and serves as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety. This year’s event will recognize those lost between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
Workers’ Memorial Day is observed each year as a time to reflect on the lives lost due to workplace incidents and to renew a shared commitment to protecting the health and safety of all workers. Across the United States, more than 5,000 workers lose their lives on the job each year.
