WIOA State Plan Public Comment

February 18, 2026 Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the State of Vermont must submit a state plan to the U.S. Department of Labor that includes a four-year strategy and operational plan for implementation of the state's workforce development system, with an update after two years. The Vermont State Workforce Development Board is charged by WIOA to assist the Governor in developing, implementing, and modifying the State Plan.

In 2024, the Board, in consultation with the core partners (Vermont Department of Labor, Vermont Agency of Education, and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation), submitted Vermont's 2024-2028 WIOA Combined State Plan.
