Networking Opportunities with Over 150 Hiring Businesses and New York State Agencies Job Seekers Are Encouraged to Pre-Register Here State officials will open the 2026 Dr. King Career Fair featuring networking opportunities with more than 150 employers offering nearly 4,000 jobs in the Capital Region. Free parking and Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) shuttles will be available. Those who wish to attend the fair are encouraged to register online.
The Dr. King Career Fair features the following services:
- Resume review
- Pop-up career center
- Professional headshot photo booth
- Virtual reality career exploration Ahead of the event, The New York State Department of Labor encourages job seekers to participate in the Department’s no-cost virtual workshops to prepare for potential career opportunities.
