US12605064B2 Refractive Pattern Patent Granted
Summary
The USPTO granted US Patent 12605064B2 to Shenzhen Thondar Technology Co., Ltd. covering a method and device for generating refractive patterns using fundus imaging of the human eye. The patent includes claims for capturing fundus images, calculating image resolutions, confirming target resolutions, generating a refractive matrix, and producing a refractive pattern. The patent names Ningli Wang, Xuechuan Dong, Yequan Huang, Yan Cui, and Jingyun Guo as inventors.
What changed
The USPTO issued Patent 12605064B2 to Shenzhen Thondar Technology Co., Ltd., granting exclusive rights to a method and device for generating refractive patterns based on fundus image analysis of the human eye. The technology involves capturing fundus images, calculating resolutions to generate a resolution sequence, identifying target resolutions, and producing a refractive matrix and corresponding refractive pattern.
Entities in the ophthalmic measurement or diagnostic device space should note this patent grant, which may affect freedom-to-operate assessments for similar fundus imaging and refractive analysis technologies. Licensees or developers of comparable eye measurement systems should conduct IP clearance searches to evaluate potential infringement exposure from this newly granted patent.

Abstract
Disclosed are a method and a device for generating a refractive pattern, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: capturing fundus images of a human eye to be measured, and obtaining refractive information corresponding to the fundus images; calculating resolutions of the fundus images, and generating a resolution sequence of the fundus images according to the resolutions; confirming target resolutions in the resolution sequence, and obtaining the refractive information of fundus images corresponding to the target resolutions; and generating a refractive matrix according to the refractive information, and generating the refractive pattern according to the refractive matrix.
