H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, CEO of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), on his own behalf and on behalf of all SFDA staff, extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and H.R.H Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may Allah protect them—and to the Saudi people, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH.

Dr. Aljadhey commended the services provided by the Kingdom during the holy month of Ramadan to pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques, which contributed to the success of the Umrah season in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace. He noted that this success was achieved by the grace of God and the continuous guidance and support of the wise leadership, which dedicated all available resources to ensure the utmost care and attention for the guests of the Two Holy Mosques.

Furthermore, Dr. Aljadhey highlighted the SFDA’s vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of food, medicine, and medical devices, thereby protecting public health and the safety of pilgrims. He emphasized the Kingdom's international leadership in the fields of regulatory oversight and inspection, in alignment with the aspirations and commitment of the leadership.

His Excellency concluded by praying to Allah Almighty to grant the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and H.R.H the Crown Prince continued health and well-being, and to reward their tireless efforts in serving the nation, its citizens, and the visitors to the Two Holy Mosques. He also prayed that Allah preserve the Kingdom's security and prosperity, and that this blessed occasion returns to all with goodness, blessings, and joy.
