Abstract
An implantable spacer for delivering a medical fluid to a patient, wherein the spacer has an outer surface and a plurality of delivery valves arranged on the outer surface, wherein the delivery valves are each fluidically connected to one another by a channel arranged within the implant, and wherein the delivery valves are designed and configured to open reversibly depending on the pressure of a fluid within the channel in order to deliver the fluid from the delivery valves.
