Abstract

A shunt operable to be implanted on an eye is provided. The shunt includes a vein fluidic channel operable to be in fluid communication with an interior of the eye and operable to receive aqueous fluid from the interior of the eye. A body is fluidly coupled with the vein fluidic channel. A valve is disposed within the body and is operable to regulate intraocular pressure in the eye by opening and closing based on pressure from the aqueous fluid. A plurality of outlets are in fluid communication with the body opposite the vein fluidic channel in relation to the valve. The outlets are operable to release the aqueous fluid to the sclera of the eye.
