What changed

KDHE has rescinded the boil water advisory for Jefferson Co RWD 7 after laboratory testing confirmed no bacteriological contamination. The advisory was originally issued due to a waterline break that caused a loss of pressure in the distribution system, which may have resulted in loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination. KDHE issues rescind notices following testing at a certified laboratory once all conditions that placed the system at risk are resolved. Public water suppliers and affected residents should note that boil water advisories are lifted only after KDHE officials deem all risk conditions resolved based on confirmed laboratory results.
