Details
This Corporate Plan sets out how we will continue to engage with the government and defence industry in line with the recommendations of the Strategic Defence Review (SDR) and the upcoming Defence Industrial Strategy (DIS) and through the future review of the single source regulatory framework. In so doing, the SSRO will be mindful of its two statutory aims – value for money and fair and reasonable prices – as well as seeking to increase the pace and simplify the application of single source procurement. We stand ready to support and implement the changes resulting from these government reviews.
In addition to setting out the projects and annual activities that we will continue to deliver, the Corporate Plan also details several new activities.
We have developed a range of quantitative and qualitative key performance indicators, designed to be stretching but realistic, to help us assess whether we are achieving our aims.
The SSRO’s Board will monitor delivery of the Corporate Plan. The plan will be updated next year.
