What changed

SSA is discontinuing system of records 60-0010 (Hearing Office Tracking System of Claimant Cases), which was originally established to track hearing office workload information. The agency will consolidate these functions into the existing Hearings and Appeals Case Control System (60-0009). This administrative action is taken under the Privacy Act of 1974, which requires public notice when agencies modify their systems of records.

Affected parties with existing Privacy Act requests or inquiries related to hearing office case tracking should note that records previously maintained under 60-0010 will now be accessible through system 60-0009. Members of the public who submitted comments or inquiries under the old system should update their records references accordingly. No new obligations are imposed on the public by this rescindment; it is primarily an administrative consolidation of federal record-keeping systems.
