Public Service Personnel Boards and Appeals Board Amendment Regulations
Summary
The President of Singapore issued the Public Service (Personnel Boards and Appeals Board) (Amendment) Regulations 2026 (S 192), effective 1 April 2026. The amendment replaces Mr Leo Yip with Mr Chan Heng Kee as a personnel board member, deletes item 2 from the Schedule, and renumbers the remaining items accordingly. This is a routine administrative update to public service board appointments.
What changed
Regulation S 192 amends the Public Service (Personnel Boards and Appeals Board) Regulations (Rg 3) by making three specific changes to the Schedule: (1) replacing the name "Mr Leo Yip" with "Mr Chan Heng Kee" in item 1; (2) deleting item 2 entirely; and (3) renumbering former items 3, 4, 5, and 6 to items 2, 3, 4, and 5 respectively. The amendment is made under Article 110D(7) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore and made on 27 March 2026.
No immediate action is required by regulated entities. This is a personnel appointment update for public service boards with no compliance deadlines or penalties. Affected government agencies should update internal records to reflect the new personnel board composition and remove references to deleted item 2 from the Schedule.
