April 10, 2026

Reacting to the statement from the GSD, the Minister for Business, the Hon Gemma Arias-Vasquez, said: “Mr Sacarello says we should reach out to business, but he hates it when I show how much we have reached out to businesses. Mr Sacarello says we should use the time of the extension between 10th April and 15th July to work with businesses on the issues that matter to them, but he hates it when pictures show I am doing exactly that. Mr Sacarello keeps talking about what should be done. I keep doing what should be done. What Mr Sacarello doesn’t seem to realise is that if the Government was in a position to publish even more information, then it would. If we have not done so, it is because that very detailed and operational information is not yet available.”
