What changed

The Postal Service filed three requests with the Postal Regulatory Commission seeking to add International Priority Airmail, Commercial ePacket, Priority Mail Express International, Priority Mail International, and First-Class Package International Service agreements to the Competitive Product List under Negotiated Service Agreements.

International shippers and logistics providers should monitor these proceedings at the Postal Regulatory Commission. The filings would expand the competitive product offerings for international mail services. This is a routine filing notice under 39 USC 3642 and 3632(b)(3) governing USPS competitive product classification.

What to do next

  1. Monitor for Postal Regulatory Commission action on the filed agreements
  2. Review filings at www.prc.gov for details on competitive product additions
