What changed

The Migration Advisory Committee has launched a call for evidence seeking input on the Global Talent and Innovator Founder visa routes. Respondents are asked to focus specifically on these two routes, as feedback on other immigration routes is not being sought. The MAC will use the evidence gathered to inform its broader review into how the immigration system can attract top talent to the UK.

Employers seeking to recruit international talent, immigrant entrepreneurs, and investors interested in these visa routes should consider providing input before the 1 May 2026 deadline. Further engagement, including interviews and round-table discussions, may be offered to selected respondents later in the year.
