What changed

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has terminated a proceeding related to the Central Falls Hydroelectric Project (No. 3063). Blackstone Hydro Associates, the licensee, initially filed a Downstream Fishway Effectiveness Monitoring Plan, which was later withdrawn. As no objections were raised and the Commission took no action to disallow it, the withdrawal became effective on March 2, 2026, terminating the proceeding.

This action signifies the closure of a regulatory matter. Regulated entities should note that withdrawals of previously filed plans, when unopposed, can proceed to termination without further commission action. No specific compliance actions are required for other entities as this pertains to a specific licensee's withdrawal.
