What changed
Executive Order 26-64, issued by the Governor of Florida on March 12, 2026, extends the executive assignment of State Attorney Ginger Bowden Madden for an additional year, through February 11, 2027. This extension pertains to her duties concerning allegations made against Christopher Devon Butler, as initially assigned under Executive Order 25-35. The extension is deemed necessary because the case is still pending and the assigned State Attorney has advised that the duties have not yet been completed.

No direct compliance actions are required from regulated entities outside of the specific parties involved in the case.
