What changed

FERC staff has updated the procedural schedule for the Lowell Hydroelectric Project relicensing (FERC Project No. 2790) by moving the target date for a 'Notice that Application is Ready for Environmental Analysis' from March 2026 to May 2026. This amendment follows Boott Hydropower LLC's June 2025 filing of an amendment to their April 2021 license application. The original schedule was set in the July 14, 2025 Notice of Material Amendment.

This is a routine procedural update and does not impose new requirements on Boott or other parties. The notice clarifies that further revisions to the schedule may be made as appropriate. Entities with interest in this proceeding should note the updated May 2026 target date for environmental analysis readiness. Questions may be directed to Bill Connelly at (202) 502-8587 or william.connelly@ferc.gov.
